Stuart Rivers Associates has been inspired to take part in a new corporate team building project. We have joined the Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) and over the next year will be competing with hundreds of thousands of employees around the world and improving our health and wellbeing at the same time.
Commenting on the GCC Stuart Rivers said: “The initiative, which is organised by Virgin Pulse, part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, doesn’t just focus on getting people active, it also encourages you to look more carefully at nutrition, balancing work and leisure time and even improving sleep patterns. We know these are important factors for maintaining individual wellbeing and for running an effective business but sometimes it’s hard to put all of them into practice.
“We’ve always tried to incorporate a mix of social events and sporting corporate challenges into our working life and this is the ideal way for us to take things just a bit further.”
Companies competing in the GCC scheme, select teams of 7 employees who then complete a series of activity and educational challenges aimed at improving both their physical and psychological health. These employees can then compare their progress with the 45,000 teams from up to 1,500 of the world’s most respected companies taking part worldwide.
